In the biology class I teach, I implore the students to follow lab directions to the letter. There is a set formula for receiving a good grade, an exact procedure to getting the right results. Too bad being a Christian isn’t quite as simple. We are faced with all sorts of challenges along our journey and these challenges just can’t be explained or solved by a tidy procedure.
